AMBASSAGE SHOOTS VIDEO FOR SHOWCASE FEATURING K'ORE
Fine boy upcoming rap
artiste, Ambassage, just shot the video for his song, Showcase featuring K’ore.
X2D met with him and asked a few questions about this video:
WHERE WAS THE VIDEO SHOT?
This video was shot on
the Island - at the Sliverbird Galleria and Marina Rooftop - and Mr Price Stores at the Ikeja Shopping
Mall.
WHO SHOT THE VIDEO?
Achor Yusuf, the current
director of Nigerian Idols.
WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO SHOOT THE VIDEO NOW?
They say “a picture is
worth a thousand words”, and since we really want to go by the message of the
song, it was time to make an exhibition of a really good song and vertical
(gospel) music as a whole. The track has done so well on air without much push,
so a video is just the right boost ‘SHOWCASE’ needs. Plus it is time to put a face to the name.
WHAT IS THE MESSAGE BEHIND THE SONG?
Ephesians 3:10 says
‘that the wisdom of God may be shown to the world through the church…’ and that
is us. Also Romans 8:19 says ‘the whole creation awaits the manifestation of
the sons of God’. God really wants to use us (His sons) as showpieces to the
world literally, but most of us are too scared, timid and not excellent to step
up to the plate. We are praying for God to ‘STEP IN” and do something while He
is waiting for us to ‘STEP UP’ and do something with all He has given us. The
song
is pretty much a challenge, prayer and faith
confession.
WHAT WAS THE CONCEPT BEHIND THE VIDEO?
is pretty much a challenge, prayer and faith
confession.
WHAT WAS THE CONCEPT BEHIND THE VIDEO?
In a nutshell, ‘Wo ‘ke,
Go ‘ke, Di oge’ meaning “Look up to Him, Rise to a height and be made a
showpiece.
It would be something
for Nigeria – ‘One Green Wish’. ‘It is a project dear to my heart and you know
with all that is going on around us, I think I should lend my voice and speak
for change. It is featuring Rooftop Mcs, Provabs and Esse (MTN Project Fame
Season 4 runner up) and it is produced by Ambassage and that is me (Laughs)

TOLUCCI IS OUT WITH A NEW SONG AND VIDEO
Tolucci, Christian Artiste, Music Producer and video director, has coined his own definition of the word 'swag' with his just released new song and video; the second video from the forthcoming album - The Minstrel's Notepad.
S.W.A.G, according to Tolucci, stands for Saved With Amazing Grace and it is a declaration of how he got saved, his unashamed stand for the truth in Christ, and his ride through life's temptations.
The S.W.A.G project was released in tribute 10 years of being ordained into the Music/Media Ministry.

RONNIE D - I WAS ACCUSED OF BEING FETISH
Ronnie D - Aderonke Comfort Adesanya - was born on January 5th. A native
of Ijebu Igboye, Epe, Lagos. She attended Fagba Grammar school (1994-2000) and
got her degree in Insurance in Lasu (Lagos state university).
She started
singing at the age of seven, but was known more as a dancer. Her singing ability
became pronounced “during a fellowship rally in my church at Foursquare Gospel Church,
Pipeline; after which the pastor pronounced a blessing on me”. She gained the
boldness and has been in the business of making impact in lives through my singing ministry.
Some of the
challenges Ronnie D has faced include not being accepted by her family because
they believe singing is not a profession. Also while in school, there were rumours
that she attracted people through the use of ‘juju’ when singing; “they said I
must have hid my fetish in the stomach region because I normally touch that area
when singing”. She has however pursued her vision and taken courage in lives
being touched by God when she sings and this has kept her going.
Aderonke is a
member of Kingsword International Church. She loves helping people get back on
their feet and works with the principle – “if you don’t have what you need,
maintain what you have”.
